Your Pets

We welcome pets into several of our cottages at Northway. Each cottage description makes clear where pets are allowed and where they are not.

We feel that Northway makes a good base for families with pets as we are close to the coastal path and a good base for those long walks your pets enjoy so much.

We make a charge of £25 per pet per week or part week and all pets must be pre-booked.

We find that most of our pet owners are very responsible and keep their pets well under control, but in order to ensure that everyone is happy we like to make it clear exactly what our policies are regarding your pets stay.

Our Pet Policies

Don't forget to pack for your pet! Please bring his own bedding and feeding bowls. Remember to bring his lead. Our other guests may not be as keen on animals as you are, and we also have animals of our own on-site, so we do ask you to keep your dog on a lead when using the shared grounds and courtyard.

Some of you will be staying in cottages which have their own enclosed garden, where you may wish to let your dog off his lead. However it is your responsibility to decide whether the garden enclosure is sufficient to keep your pet in and if not to ensure that he is suitably restrained to ensure that he does not get out. If your pet is a renowned escape artist it is a good idea to attach him to a long leash.

For reasons of health and hygiene your pets are not allowed in the children's outdoor play area or leisure building. Within your cottage you should ensure that that they do not go onto the soft furnishings or beds. You should not leave your pets unattended at any time, either inside or outside your cottage. They may be used to being left alone at home, but here they are in a strange environment and may become stressed and fretful.
