  • Woody Bay. Steam trains through rolling countryside, with views out to wild moorland and the rugged coastline.
  • Ultimate Adventure Centre. High ropes, low ropes, jacob's ladder, zip wire and climbing wall
  • Kingsland Stables. A friendly local riding stables with horses and ponies for all ages and abilities.
  • Burton Art Gallery. In Bideford, this gallery has both national and local exhibitions. A great collection of local crafts for sale and a great French café.
  • Exmoor Zoo. A surprisingly large zoo with a vast array of interesting animals.
  • Blakewell Fisheries. Fly fishing club. A Mecca for lovers of nature, fishing and water gardens with a farm shop, family fishing, hot food and refreshments.
  • Watermouth Castle. A castle with a theme park including rides and play areas, and beautiful landscaped
  • Keypitts. For a day of tearing around on quad bikes for the over 5's and 4x4 driving experience for anyone with a full driving licence.
  • South West Coastal Path. Beautiful Devon countryside and walks down to the sea.
  • Arlington Court. Stately Home and National Carriage Museum

  • The Big Sheep. Fantastic family attraction with rides, shows and animals. Enough to fill a whole day.

  • Dartington Crystal. Bargain crystal shop, glass painting and factory tour.
  • Tarka Swims. Family friendly coarse fishing club. Loads of helpful advice and reasonably priced.
  • Exmoor National Park. Almost 700 square kilometers of beautiful open moorland for you to explore.
  • Marwood Gardens. Peaceful, beautiful magical gardens with lakes and excellent café.
  • Wake Park. Watersports on a wire.
  • Coombe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park. Free Shows, talks, encounters and a number of ‘Animal Experiences’ plus Dino Express Train Ride, a tropical house, Bug World and Tomb of the Pharaohs
  • North Devon Surf School. One of the top surfing schools in the UK. Based at Westward Ho! it offers lessons, courses and equipment hire.
